Larry W. Bright II

Larry Wilson Bright II, was destined to become a writer.  Born to Dorothy Mae and Larry Wilson Bright on July 26, 1964 was raised in the Nations Capital, Washington, DC.  Larry Bright was a graduate of Dunbar Senior High School in which he played Soccer and Football.  By his team mates, he was lovingly nicknamed, “Country” because his grandmother always fed him Cornbread, Beans and Rice.  At the tender age of thirteen, Larry began acting in community and church plays.  As he began to study roles for acting he explained the difficulty he had in connecting to the part and with memorizing it.   The Director for the school play encouraged Larry to write his own lines.  Self inspired to write comedy, he studied the popular sitcom “Good Times” in which he observed the communicative and interactive writing styles.   Larry’s first attempts at writing scripts were performed by him in a school play.   This began his inspirited career in “Creative Writing”.

Larry not only has interest in writing but also in Boxing.  Mohammed Ali, the “Greatest” fighter of all times, was Larry’s hero.  He began his Boxing interest at the age of twelve.  At thirteen he became serious about Boxing and would train three times a week.  Larry’s training included a rigorous physical exercises and Sparring.  His trainers include, Mr. Gene Hughes of Midtown Boxing Gym and Mr. John Snead of Number 11 Boys Club of Washington, DC.   As an adult, living in Las Vegas, Nevada, Larry sparred with Mike Tyson and Francois Botha.

Fate would have Larry travel to Los Angeles California were he commenced his studies in Film. He received a Certificate from the Hollywood Film School in 2006.   In 1996, Larry began writing scripts for major comedy children’s films.  He’s written a series of 10 children’s films and will begin production of the films in 2010.

Larry Bright’s first book, “How to Stroke a Man’s Ego and Get Anything You Want!” is inspired by what he wants in relationships.   In his opinion, the Ego is the core of a man and stroking it can improve the quality of every aspect of your life including intimate relationships.

On his own from the age of thirteen, Larry would attend church and Friday evening services.   As a youth, Larry had tapped in to his abilities, talents and skills.   So, “Surrounded By Angels”, Larry’s second book is inspired by God.  Over the six months it took him to write the book, he would begin and end with Prayer.  During the writing of this book Larry had a super spiritual experience that felt like he was levitating and his feet felt like they were doing the ”Ali Shuffle”.

Larry Bright is set for high levels of success.   Influenced and shaped by the highly acclaimed Multi Billionaires, Ms. Oprah Winfrey and Mr. Tyler Perry, their gifts and abilities to entertain, enlighten and uplift their viewers, have opened the path for Larry to create natural and automatic success.  Larry Bright’s books and films are on their way to “sky rocket” to success.
